Does anyone have last week's Daily Mails?

Does anyone still have the Daily Mail from last week which has the pictures of Ned Hughes on page 24? I think it's from one of the midweek issues.

He's the "forgotten" WWI veteran.

It appears that the newspaper have lost the original photo, and his nephew-in-law has just been into the shop to see if we can do something with the image they published. The one from their website isn't really suitable, so I was going to scan one from the paper...

Netherwood Hughes - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

There's possibly a photo that's more than just head-and-shoulders in one of the local papers, showing his full uniform.

The one on the front page of the Observer only shows head & shoulders in uniform

Re: Does anyone have last week's Daily Mails?

Problem sorted: I just spoke to Lisa Kenyon at the Accrington Observer, and she promised to get a print made up from the scan they have on record. It also transpires that the paper say they hand-delivered the photo to Ned's care home, so it's not necessarily the paper that lost the original.

Good result, though. I really didn't want to be wading into the copyright minefield...

Thanks everyone for your replies!
