I agree, beautiful and dog seems like a contradiction in terms to me.

I have no objection to working dogs such as sheepdogs, but cannot comprehend the way people in towns keep dogs solely for the purpose of recieving affection from them- ie as a pet.

Centuries ago lapdogs had a purpose - to attract fleas off their owner.
Town dogs just provide a public nuisance.

It's in the eye of the beholder, hon. As soon as you try to break it down into its constituent parts, beauty isn't there any more.

Don't see it: "military intelligence," "jumbo shrimp," "Microsoft works" .... these are contradictions in terms; but, beautiful and dog? Unless you are using "dog" as a term for those esthetically challenged females a guy drags home after a night on the booze.

There are many other reason why towns people own dogs other than to receive affection.

Billy, shes looking Nice now.

Could try asking at pet warehouse, they may know if there are any local shows.

Aw, sorry about that ... but there are just some things a guy can't resist; you know, like beer, UFC, hockey, fishing, expensive mechanincal toys .... and using "bitch" to get a rise out of the fairer sex
