Dog Dirt Bins

Can anyone give me any info on how to have a dog dirt bin placed on a site near to where I live, its a green area where lots of children play but dog owners let their dogs foul the area, not having a bin is no excuse but if there was one there hopefully people would use it. I'm not a dog owner and I know a lot of owners do clean up after their dogs but a lot don't and its evident, anyway would I have to write to HBC?

Re: Dog Dirt Bins

I would say your best bet is to right to HBC (good luck!) and explain that lots of children use the area and that you feel a bin would be beneficial.

Re: Dog Dirt Bins

I think you will struggle to get your bin. I have heard the topic discussed at area council meetings. The problem is emptying them, or at least the cost involved.
I hope you are successfull in your quest.
