i beleive jax school of motoring and jackson school of motoring in baxenden are excellent and have a high pass rate. my partner is learning with north lancs of ossy, he does block courses and seems fine but very busy at mo. a good sign i suppose. good luck

Two of my lads passed with Jax, he's very good.
Believe the other guy mentioned is his son?

Another one is Vincent's. He's supposed to be pretty good too.

Post Re: DRIVING LESSONS

I've heard that Jax and Vincents are both good. My driving instructors were excellent, one of them was Christine at Carltons SOM, she was excellent and a real good laugh, she never failed to spot drivers picking their noses at traffic lights and point them out to you. Somebody told me recently that she had died, but I used to really look forward to my lessons with her.
My other instructor was my dad, who used to take me out every night in his car for practise. I'll say no more about that!  We are still speaking though :-*

Re: DRIVING LESSONS

Tried to book lessons with Jax school of motoring,
they had a waiting list.
I was given the number of Fletchers school of motoring by a work colleague who was having lessons, pleased to say I have passed my test and would recommend this instructor, Ken , who was very patient as I am not the easiest person to teach
