Emergency Doctors?

Does anyone know if there is still a walk in emergency doctors at Accy Vic?

I've been off work since Tuesday with a horrible chest etc, I just phoned Myrtle House who have nothing until Thursday next week and their emergency appointments are on Tuesday!

Any help greatly appreciated.

Re: Emergency Doctors?

yep still a walk in service and they should be taking on new patients soon as tehy have just expanded.Maybe worth considering if like me it was so hard to see a propper doctor at accy pals it was better to use a walk in service that showed more concern in treating patients than interigating them in reception to see if their illness was worthy of teh doctors time.

as a walk in patient i was seen a hundred times faster than been a registered patient at accy pals and i didnt have to spend 3 hours on the phone trying to get an appontment or que up in the cold outside the building in the hope of been seen that week

I had this problem, ring up or call for an appointment no chance for this week, well can I book for next week?
Only at 4.30 Friday afternoon, we don't have the facilities to know when the Doctor is in next week.
It was no use arguing the receptionists word was God.
I changed my doctor, receptionists pleasant as anything, you turn up they politely look for the earliest available appointment and hey presto, turn up on time you see the doctor.
The name of this clinic?
I'm not telling you, I don't want the surgery getting too busy that they can't fit me in.

if your pooly enough they will fit you in less

unlike accy pals wher you can be on your knees in agony only to be told no appontment until next week and have you tried teh out of hours service which opens after 6pm.Not much good when its 11am

Rhyddings surgery is like that Less......Pals is hopeless...you have to give them 12 months notice if you are going to be ill.
