Eye Test

Just in case there are other people who are in the same boat as myself I have found an optician that comes to your own home to do sight tests, its very hand if you can't get out. I have to have a eye test every year because there is glaucoma in my family. If any one would like the phone number PM me

Re: Eye Test

Once you have your prescription you can buy on line MUCH cheaper.
I have done this for the past 5 years (twice)
You might think, like shoes, that you need to try them on for comfort, but contrarily, I have found that by specifying precicely the dimensions of each part of the frame, I get a better fit than trying on in an optician's shop.

Most shops shops need to bend and adapt their stock frames to fit - never needs to be done if they are the right size to begin with.
