Fed up-any ideas?

I keep getting 'clothing collection' leaflets n im peeved because i know they are a massive scam....i googled the "reg. NO ........" (made to look like a charity number) and i got lots of other posts on forums warning others instead of the info i was looking for.

I know this is a scam but is there anything else i can do about it apart from sign the petitions i found on google?

Maybe other people would like to sign it too?Heres the link.......

Petition to: Stop companies implying that they are doing charitable work when they are not..

I leave body parts out in those for collection, and have never had any trouble, as they are quite sturdy.

Re: Fed up-any ideas?

Its getting stupid...i see loads of bags put out knowing its a scam-i might put my own leaflet through their letter boxes explaining how they are being conned......the biggest shame is that the people getting fooled are generous people that think they are giving to the needy.

As it's probably illegal, I wonder if it is worth mentioning to the police, and let them know the collection day.

Re: Fed up-any ideas?

A fun thing to do would be to collect all the bogus leaflets/bags, fill a sack with them when there is a reasonable amount, then leave it on your step.
