I am going purely cosmetic, gonna have to leave this fire in anyway i think (cant afford a job like that, nooooo chance) so will just be surround i will need me thinks. Mine is old fashined and ugly, has grey tiles on the wall between the fire and surround, the surround was hand made by someone (well i hope so or whichever company made it needs shutting down lol) Just not my thing at all. Have put up with it for nearly 2 years and have been so tempted to just pull it off the wall before now but have held back until i get sorted
