Re: French Lessons

Won't the local college offer such courses starting in September? I don't know what ARC offer nowadays, but they always ran language courses in the past.

Re: French Lessons

I would have thought so but couldn't find any. My daughter didn't do French at school but now has a friend living there and wants to learn. She can then practice talking to me in French.

Re: French Lessons

Who the eck in there right mind would want to learn french, after all its only badly spoken ENGLISH.

In 1944 when france was liberated we should have kicked them out and kept it, just like Henry tried to do at Agincourt.

If you check my post you'll see the reason - she visited her friend in France this summer - and met French people. Next time she goes she would like to be able to communicate with them in French.

She doesn't want online lessons though. She wants to be able to go to somewhere and have live lessons with human beings. I don't think she could motivate herself otherwise. I said I would join in too so we coukd chat to each other about the things we learned, although I can speak a little French already.

It was a bit non-committal last time I looked. I shall check again.
