Question Get Fit...

Well Its that time of year again...far too many mince pies & everything else over the festive period....!!!
I am looking for a beginners Yoga class or an Aerobics class in the Accrington Area. I used to go to a class at Enfield & St. Josephs but that finished in summer last year as she was expecting. She couldnt find a replacement, which was a real shame. I work till 5.45 every day so would have to be after this time...PLEASE can anyone help???
ps..Gave up smoking a week today!!!! IN NEED OF SOMETHING TO KEEP ME FIT AND AWAY FROM THE FRIDGE>>>.

Thanks
Nic

Throw out the fridge (be careful you don't get nicked by the council) and that way you can't store to much food....every time you're feeling peckish put on your jogging gear & rucksac & jogdown to Asda, get your food & then jog back...you'll never be tempted to buy to much that you can't carry & you'll get fit P.D.Q......forget the Atkins Diet, this is the get fit, envoromentally friendly, stay slim diet....works all the time.

The Hyndburn Sports Centrre has a brand new spanking gym - it's really great. And the atmosphere is nice there, there are all sorts of people, so you don't have to worry what shape or size you are!
You have to do an introductory safety course and then you pay as you go.
If you prefer aerobics there are allsorts of classes at the sports centre in the daytime and evening.
You can ring for information on 385945.

Tried the video thing for about a week, this was years ago and I found I couldn't co-ordinate watching the video and doing the exercises at the same time. Also tried joining a gym, paid the subscription went half a dozen times, but used to go to the pub on the way home therefore defeating the object. The sports centre have a bums tums and thighs class on monday nights which is pay on the night, been there a couple of times (2 years ago) but the classes are still running. My advice would be to get a dog. I walk mine twice a day, can get up the coppice and back down at a fast walk in about 25mins. I eat all kinds of rubbish (see previous jam, wagon wheel posts) and I love my cider and wine. Rarely put on weight, except when I'm on holiday minus the dog....

I to have tried the keepfit vids without success. I have tried aerobics but hated that. I went to a gym many years ago now that i enjoyed.
The best thing i found to work was the electronic machine that exercises your muscles while relaxing but even though it worked I didn't like the tingling sensation and sold it.
Has Lettie says Dog walking is the best way to keep fit along with swimming but I can't swim so thats out has well.

I find that having 2 young girls are enough to keep anyone fit.Especially in winter when all that snow is out there. They have had me on the go all week and all i want to do is lie down and snuggle up under me blanket.
