Is the puddle of water next to the Asda known as Hags Lodge?

Many moons ago, the fishing rights were owned by Accrington & District Fishing Club. I don't know who has right of access to it now.

Well, you welcome to come down my drive and look at the ducks on the lodge at the back of my house anytime, HOWEVER, know 'tis an English tradition, but DO NOT feed the ducks !!!! Drives me crazy. Because people feed the ducks, they do not eat the natural food that grows there and the water gets polluted.

I also overlook one of Ossie Mills lodges at work and drives me crazy watching people come down with their stale Warburtons best sliced to offer this delicacy to these overfed ducks. 'Tis not good for them, and they will not eat their natural food. The water is very muddy, and methinks that there must be around around a foot thick of dough at the bottom 'cause they don't really need it !!!!

Phew, feel better now for that outburst, just have a thing about it, they are being cruel in the cause of misguided kindness.

P.S. Happy Birthday by the way.
