hair straighteners
My daughter's straighteners have just given up the ghost, anyone got any recommendations for a new set; she wants GHDs but I am not shelling out the best part of a hundred quid !

Re: hair straighteners
The only thing with ceramic is, if your daughter likes to use them for curling too, ceramic won't curl.

Re: hair straighteners
Nah, the last thing she wants is curls ! She uses some heat protection spray from Boots expert range, it seems to do the job as she very little frizz or breakage, ( when the straighteners are working obviously !)

Re: hair straighteners
My hair is curly / frizzy and the only straighteners that get it anywhere near straight are GHDs. I've tried others but they just give me warm frizz.

Re: hair straighteners
I dont use any products, my hair goes really greasy when I do and just looks like i've sprayed shed loads of hairspray on. I used to have some Andrew Collinge straighteners from Argos (before I invested in GHD's) they were great and did the job fine. Think they were about £30.

I agree.. I have long straight hair which is naturally wavy and extremely thick!.. I don't think I could live without GHD's for controlling the friz and flatting the hair. I try not to use any products on my hair and change my shampoo quite regularly. My favourite is Herbal Essences at the moment leaves it smelling gorgeousssss.. in fact just going in the shower now so I can use it Lol
