Mine once fell off.... I had kicked a football wrong ( girl thing ) and it just flipped off surprisingly though it didn't hurt.
Oooh that made me cringe!

Ive heard it said that if you cut the toe nails round instead of straight across this can cause an ingrowing toenail. Don't known if this is correct or not though.

Re: has anyone had a toenail taken off?

I have never had a toenail removed but twice i have had my second toenail on my right foot ripped off and it was agony when it happened but the next day i couldn't feel a thing and it has grown back fine now so i wouldn't worry too much about it!

Re: has anyone had a toenail taken off?

well i have had it done on one toe (waiting to heal so i can have my other done)
nd i can tell you compared to what i was putting up with it is heaven
it stung a bit the first night and the only pain i have now is a bit of bruising from the injections
so if anyone needs it doing - dont delay it it really isnt that bad -i think it is just the thought of anything to do with nails knocks everyone sick - maybe something to do with horror stories of chinese torture regarding fingernails and bamboo splinters lol

thanks all for your commentsx
