Ya Eric that little window at the front filled with tanners and the crash when three "7" appeared on the middle line, and a pint was 9d, I can remember going into my local and the landlord saying the ale had gone up 1d, and I said we're soon not going to be able to get 10 pints to the pound

Never believed in lucking out, The Bandit up the Elite (3x 9s) was jackpot, could be got by jiggling the bandit arm around, I seemed to win it once a week at least.

Is there much aussie wine on sale, cask or bottled, and what do you have to pay in the supermarket?.

Re: Have a guess
prices depend on the quality of the wine, just like if you go to tesco/asda there is stuff at 3 quid a bottle and stuff at 10x that
same with beers, should a pint of john smiths keg cost the same as a artisan brewery quality cask?
fact of life is that you gets what you pay for...

Lots of it over here ... average price about $14.00 a bottle ... of course, most people with taste drink Canadian wine Oh, but we can't buy it in the supermarket; have to go to the liquor store in this province.
