Post help for grave search

trying to find out about my uncles father who died of T.B in 1933. He was called William Ernest Clegg & my uncle knows of no other living relative on his fathers side, & i am trying to find some info for him for his 70th bithday.
His father died before he was born &he has never known anything about him.His father was married to Dorothy Marsden, who went on to remarry. They lived in Haslingdon, then Accrington & wondered if anyone had any suggestions as to where i could look for a grave stone or obituary & then to try & trace any living member of his fathers family. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as i'm in Australia & know very little about Accrington.

Post grave search for Wm Clegg

Hi, just ring Acc Cem - tell them the exact date of death and they should be able to help.  Smashing people work in the Cem office.  Acc 232933 - they will probably know who bought the grave (if there is one of course) and all inhabitants of it.
Good luck!
