HELP! Private landlords accrington

Hi there everyone,

I have a friend who is looking to move into the area and they've been asking if I know of any private landlords in the area, they're looking for a three bedroom property. Having never rented a property, I haven't the first idea!

I was wondering if anyone could tell me of any landlords and if possible recommend anyone?

Cheers in advance

Re: HELP! Private landlords accrington

Thanks for the suggestions guys but we have already explored these routes. Right move is a good site for finding a property but by the time you have paid fees, a months rent in advance and commission you're looking at having to find over £1000 before even being able to move into a house offered by them. Unfortunately my frind does not have that kind of money ling around.

Thanks for the help though.

Have you tried Sterling Properties, Bury? They say on their site that they do a no deposit scheme. No idea how they define "No Deposit" though. Good luck

Unless they have dramatically improved the way their properties are maintained I would avoid Sterling at all costs. Seen a few of their properties and they left a lot to be desired to say the least

Re: HELP! Private landlords accrington

The only sure way to get a decent property without any deposit is to use b-with-us
PennineLancashire - Home

Unfortunately your friend is likely in for a long wait, unless in dire need

Have a word with Lindsay, Sparkie. She has a very good landlord, and may be able to advise you.

Is your friend Vietnamese by any chance? If so, there's a suitable property going up Royds Avenue.

P.S. ..he may have to put a few bob in the electric meter before he can switch on t'lights.

Lindsay Ormerod, Sparkie. But think her landlord may only have two-bedroomed properties.
