HOSPITAL VISITING HOURS, and BLACKBURN BUS SERVICE
Its a while since I have visited at the new Blackburn Royal. What are the visiting hours please and anyone know if that special hospital bus still operates from and to Accrington?

Last bus from Accrington was 16.39

I find the regularity of the bus service from accy to the hospital quite frustrating being from hourly then 2 hourly around dinner and really a pain in the rear trying to get bus fitting with appointments. Poor really when accy has to either use blackburn or burnley hospitals.

The las t bus to Royal Blackburn departs Peel Street at 16:42, so for night time visiting you need to get two buses

If you type "tyrer bus 241" into your browser you can get the time table for the hospital buses. Its actually 241 and 231. Tyrer bus is 241 and the little red buses are 231 they go from accrington clayton rishton clitheroe harwood
