Thanks for all your replies. Have to agree with Margaret though.
Been in contact with British Insurance Brokers who have given me names of insurance companies who are willing to insure the house. Only thing now is that they all are asking how much it would be to rebuild the house as well as the value of the house. The value of the house is easy enough to work out it's just the rebuilding of the house. Have rang up the neighbours but no-one seems to know the rebuilding cost, so if anyone have any ideas i would be grateful. The house is valued at around £70,000.
Good idea Willow, but don't really fancy that.
Jimmi my sister wants to rent it out but i don't. We both agreed when my father took ill that if we couldn't agree over something we wouldn't fall out. So we let a relation have the casting vote, who said do nothing for a few months then think again.
