Now, are you quite sure about that, church? Because, if Marli is expressing regret over your somewhat unkind suggestion that Hugh's poems may have been published simply because he was taking advertising in the paper, I reckon she's directing some pretty negative vibes towards you...and quite rightly so! The very idea!

I thought your "post post post" was just you encouraging Marli to get involved with Accyweb by making lots of posts!

OK, but I don't understand why she'd be sorry that you thought she should make lots of posts. Confused?...you will be!

when i read response, i presumed, that marli had taken my comment in a negative way

there are quite a few on here who dont post what they mean and sarcasm is order of the day, however this wasnt the case and it was a genuine welcome

but then i could be completely wrong, and its not always about ME!

They probably said that to Shelley when he started off on this poetry caper. Give the lad time - he's probably not stocked up on enough rhyming words at the moment!

Re: Hugh Davies Poems

John Keats poems were not well received by his critics during his life either. Now they are some of the most popular in English literature.

Exactly, Marli! This is what I keep trying to tell these philistines. Hugh Davies...an unrecognised poetic genius!
