It could be as simple as water getting into the coax, If the seal on the aerial connection is faulty it rains things get wet signal decreases, get an engineer out.

Seen that before Less, You can take the jack off the tv end of the cable and you can shake water out. Seems the more modern techknowlegy gets the worse it becomes.

It's not poor technology but poor installation.
There won't be water in the coax to the flats but their could be between aerial and distribution amp.

It's a system the residents pay rent for so it must be Hyndburn Homes responsibility to repair.

I don't know why jaysay ever watches through the aerial when sky is nicer features wise. Are there any channels on freeview that are not available on sky

I only watch through the aerial for an hour each morning, 10 to 11, because believe it or not Ceefax is a hell of a lot quicker than on satellite, after that its sky all the wayits just that other people with no sky will be without picture as my home isn't the only one attached to this aerial

Its okay if you have an Iphone, but I just check on football news, then switch over the sky, Ceefax is still going it was Teletext that finished
