They are peahens, I was just using a common English phrase for them, but in future just to please the pedant in you I will only refer to them by their collective name.

I may have an ostentation of Peacocks, (see can't get away from the fact they are usually referred to in the masculine), that will need to be shifted very soon, £2.00 each or £3.00 for the whole muster.

I was referring more to the person who asked if their tail feathers had been pulled out an someone mentioned them losing them at certain seasons.

duck is more brown (when cooked), bit fatty too but tastes good especially when iv had a few....come to think of it iv only ever eaten it when im ****ed!
