It was wishy washy stuff compared with that made by an old lady named Laycock who made it at her home on Catlow Hall St and sold it out of a small chest freezer in her vestibule.

Sorry, but I went right off Vienetta when I was defrosting my freezer and left some to melt, so that I could throw it away. It just looked so artificial (whipped up none dairy fat) that I have not been tempted to buy any since.

Re: Ice-cream...whats Your Favourite?
I don't eat much ice cream, but I like to keep a tub of Mackies (of Scotland) Traditional Luxury Dairy Ice Cream in my freezer.
I buy it at Sainsburys, but I think that most of the bigger supermarkets stock it.
Unfortunately, I haven't found any in Shanghai yet, so my freezer is bare.

Not a lover of ice cream but on the odd occasion I do have one I like Choc Mint Chip from a small shop in Grassington.

Used to be great Margaret, calling in at Laycock's on the way home from Rhyddings Park when I was a kid, Moxhams opposite the Town Hall (civic theatre, sorry Gayle ) wasn't bad either, Edmund made a mean icecream, incidentally his son Andy has a letter in the Obs this morning

Re: Ice-cream...whats Your Favourite?
No, I can't say I am partial to ice cream.....but if I am forced to choose it has to be boring old vanilla....but only a very small cone!
