The obvious inference is that he'd prefer us not to talk quite as much about Stanley, because it makes it a little more difficult for him to get to other posts.
I say "I think" because after his initial outburst, he started to become evasive, throwing in red herrings about footballer's wages and eventually lapsing into semi-coherent gibberish.
Either he's trying to stir things up as JT and Spuggie say or he's become embarrassed about the sheer selfishness of his initial point of view.

Yes your right he's not entitled to disagree, after all it's not
normal not to like Stanley, all normal people like football, and how anyone
dare say say they dont like Stanley-well I ask you what is the world
coming to.

Re: Is Anyone Else Fed Up With Stanley?
...and once again you neatly evade the question. You were the one who started this thread by whinging about the number of Stanley posts in the Today's Posts posts section after a match. The inference can only be that you want us fans to post less Stanley-related posts. Can you explain to us why you think this is justified?
Either put up or shut up!

You couldn't see the the point if it poked you in the eye, this post is just another attempt at a very poor wind up.

Re: Is Anyone Else Fed Up With Stanley?
Ianto.W., have you ever thought about a career in politics? Your ability to evade questions makes you eminently suited for that profession. However, you're obviously determined not to answer the point you raised in the first place, so what the hell.
As for the "crap result", veteran fans like myself and Bagpuss have been following Stanley for far too long to let a little thing like that worry us. Onwards to Nottingham!

Re: Is Anyone Else Fed Up With Stanley?
A true fan or supporter will take the bad with the good and will always believe that the bad will be outweighed by the good. Stanley have had their bad times and now the good are back The odd hickup wont upset them as they have seen the really bad.

Got to hand it to you Winne you
me weigh'd up.
Never forgave Stanley for overcharging in the late 40's early 50's we had
to watch it off the Coppice.
Politics well Britcliff would be history, although he's quite good at evading
the truth, I wouldn't need two goes at him.

I knew it! I KNEW you were a frustrated ex-Stanley fan! Stop fighting it and return to the fold. You know you want to!

I'm not quite a veteran yet Mr Harris, in fact up to 3 years ago I was a season ticket holder at Anfield, I watched maybe 3 or 4 Stanley games a season. At the time it was becoming too expensive for me to follow Liverpool full time so I sold my ticket and started to watch Stanley. To cut a long story short I love following Stanley and own a season ticket and haven't missed a game this season home or away. I still think of myself as a Liverpool fan but how its turned out I am now a Stanley Supporter full time.

Oh, right, don't know why but I'd got the impression you'd started in the early 60's like me. Don't tell me, you weren't born then!

Because, in his heart of hearts, he wants to be a Stanley fan! As you can see, he had a traumatic childhood, standing on a windswept Coppice, gazing forlornly at the happy throngs inside Peel Park. He started this thread because of his childhood feelings of rejection by Stanley. Time to submit to your destiny, Ianto,W, and come and join us. Your place on the Clayton End is ready and waiting for you!

I was born in the 60s but I doubt I was watching footy. If I had then maybe I could have joined Tin Monkey in building the stand and got some respect from him. Only a joke TM respect to you Sir.
