Re: Is This Love?

My hubby was not known as a 'cat lover'....he wasn't exactly a cat hater either......just tolerant of the species. Until a little black kitten walked into our house about 10 weeks after he had had a stroke.....and was in the 'slough of despond'. She transformed his life, made him smile again and pick up the threads of his life and set him on the road to recovery.......something which I could not do.

Re: Is This Love?

Cats have a way of being able to sneak through a door when you are not looking Less.

You may open the door with not a sign of kittykins anywhere in sight but the moment you turn round to close it you will find something small and furry standing behind you.

You may think you have cat-proofed the windows but you'll be surprised. Cats know how to overcome these obstacles.

Go on, be a softy and let it live inside with you.

That sounds like an expensive diet for a kitten Mick? I was just going to throw it the odd chip or let it share my curried king prawn now and then.

If you value your delicate nasal passages Less do not give curry to your cat!

I think that's is nice to be getting a kitten Less. They do certainly grow on ya. And the self-proclaimed miserable git type has soften up once again! Are you sure you didn't take a peek at that autographed booklet?

It has been my constant companion, mainly because I forgot to take it out of my pocket! (Only joking, as I said I won't be reading it, but, because you put the closest that you will ever get to writing in English on the flyer, it has pride and place on my book case. (Along with Wind In the Willows which I consider to be a most factual book)).

Re: Is This Love?

Happiness is being owned by a cat.

Dogs have owners; cats have staff.

Cats are poetry in motion; dogs are gibberish in neutral.

Cats were once worshipped as gods; cats have never forgotten this.

(I hope none of this gets back to my dog.)

So Less, is it gonna be a male or female? Have you a name in mine? Or could see hard less naming it roadkill but behind closed doors, sweetless going with something like peaches or mitzy.

Its not love, its just after something.

Now your getting your own car expect that love to turn nasty and little presents of the brown kind to return.
