Isnt this fraud or at least lying ?

BBC News - Nick Clegg regrets signing anti-tuition fees pledge

Now surely Nick Clegg was elected because of his stance on this, and now he has done a 180. If I made false claims about my ability on an application for a job and the employer found out I`d be asked to leave.

So why do we as the public who elected him have no form of redress ?

Re: Isnt this fraud or at least lying ?

as the libs came 3rd of the big 3 in the general, don't see how the public elected him, Cameron elected him so Cameron could be number 1, unfortunately not Number 1 with a bullet.

Re: Isnt this fraud or at least lying ?

I reckon Nick Clegg has done the same as all the other Liberal leaders over the last 100yrs..big talk on what they stand for but get any sort of power they lose thier balls.

The pledge was made on the condition that the Liberals won. They didn't they came third. Now to my mind if students can't see the difference between winning and coming third perhaps they should stay at home and get a job at Tesco.

They get free training to tell 1 from 3.

I didn't want to clog up the education system by sending them back to junior school.

seem to remember one of the best posts I ever read on this site , think it was from Retlaw ,(apologies if i'm wrong ) summed up politicians to a tee ........"most of these folks can't even lie straight in bed"
