Johnnie Nolan, a "man before his time"

Hi, wondering if any of the newer members have any family connections to the above gentleman (deceased) He had the stall at the front of the Market Hall in Accrington (the one thats back to back with the sweets stall)
He made some amazing wooden carvings etc.
Would love to try and locate more of them

He was well known was Johnny Nolan, and there's quite a lot written about him and his stall (Nolans Pies) in the Market Hall in one of the many books about Accy. I haven't got mine to hand or I'd quote them. But I'm sure it was one of Bob Dobsons or Accy Observed etc. I remember him, but have no particular stories to add, except he did quite a few things "different".
