Re: King Street Club becoming an Indian restaurant
Indian is boring. We've got enough Indians. I agree that Middle Eastern would be a nice change.

A tapas bar could be a good idea, one in Rawtenstall and its always fully booked

Naked Plate on Blackburn Road do Tapas Friday and Saturday nights. Have been a couple of times (but not for a few months) and can recommend it.

Re: King Street Club becoming an Indian restaurant
Thanks, might try it one night.
THIS would be a good one to have in Accy, went in this place whilst in Sydney and it was that good I went back again a few nights later, portions wouldn't be as generous if in the Uk though, there are a few listed in the UK but too far to travel

Sold closed wrecked etc. Seems that there may be more money in food than in beer and music. People need to eat but not consume booze.

Eat all they want and never have to worry about the washing up. Can work out cheaper than a visit to the boozer for some.

Re: King Street Club becoming an Indian restaurant
Well there must be some money to be made or they wouldnt be doing it ..just seems a bit sad that yet another place of entertainment is closing down ..
would be interesting to know just whats left around the town as i havent been for a while . And its strange that although i dont live there anymore i still feel sadness that its filtering away and i get this sad feeling each time i drive through the town .. same with ossy once you couldnt drive/walk down union road without knowing at least 10 to 15 people and now you see no one ..very sad but thats changes for ya
