Knitted Hats ?
A question from the Witch, do any of the ladies from AccyWeb know of, or have destructions for knitterists about making Beanie hats ? She's managed a cardy, but has some wool left over & wants to make a matching tea cosy for her bonce. Thanking you in advance.
How PC incorrect of me, or maybe some of you Fellas ? Er, Thanks I think !

Re: Knitted Hats ?
Come on, Margaret .. he is a macho fella' .. doesn't want to see such feminine googles in his History, hence putting the onus on us ... LOL.
There is a knitting circle at the new Civic Arts Centre ... could see if they have any new ideas if you like, Dave .....
How much wool has she left over ?

Re: Knitted Hats ?
Much obliged to you ladies my thanks, I shall pass on the info, Katex I'd appreciate the asking, Marion reckons she's got enough for a hat & scarf, therefore MargeR for my modest self sadly not enough wool left over. Still should she have enough bits in the scrap box my winter blues can be alleviated.

Re: Knitted Hats ?
A beanie hat would be quite difficult.
She should start with something much simpler.
A pixie hood for you, perhaps.

Re: Knitted Hats ?
The Witch insists I once again say thank you to all who chipped in & helped her find what she was looking for. Also for your perusal the finished items.
Incidentally Bramsche were we are also has a weaving history, so it ties in quite nicely with Accy.
The Piccies :-(1) Marion Modelling self knitted Cardy & holeless teacosy with a disinterested Grimlin (2) Marion & even more disinterested Grimlin showing solidarity for the Stanley
