It could always re-open as Victor Value, like the one further down in't 80's!

That got taken over by KS if the memory serves right, there was two of 'em on the same street! never heard of that before...

Accrington store will have to find another occupier, it's not on the saved list for the new company.

it wont be missed, it was not as good as it used to be when it was further up where peacocks is now. maybe they could change it into cost cutters!!

I had heard that Tesco were looking at the 3 empty units in the Arndale opposite Iceland but now Kwik Save might be a better bet for them.

It certainly gives them more freedom of opening hours which is key to them

Its a shame for kwik saves workers as they're not even sure when they will be being paid, many havent been paid for a while already and they're unsure about their redundancy pay. Its a shame its ended up that way for kwik save.

I went in a few weeks ago and wondered why it was such a shambles, as the stuff they still had in was at stupid high prices so I didnt want to get what I wanted anyway.

well they shouldn't have cleared off in the first place, think the one they left had slightly more floorspace, p.s. when they were in town i remembering em sacking a friend for having time off after her brother passed away, so if they do return lindsay, stick where you are.

The Kwik Save we have in town in St Johns shopping arcade is now B&Ms quite a big one too!!

Tesco used to be in what is now Peacocks IIRC, I also remember there being teh two Kwik saves on the one street. MInd you I also recall the funny looking public loo's we had there as well.
