Re: laughing child

Re: laughing child
Sounds like a screensaver kicking in, right click on the desktop > Properties > Screen Saver and see what is activated. Change it to another.

Re: laughing child
If Neal's advice doesn't work, call the Observer, you'll be front page news.
GHOST CHILD HAS LAST LAUGH.

Re: laughing child
Do you have AIM? Some people choose the sound of a laughing child as their log-in and log-out audio.

Re: laughing child
If it only happens when you are online it is far more likely to be someone on your AIM buddy list than a screensaver as that would happen offline too.

However if it was the telegraph the headline would be GHOST HAS LAST
Telegraph headlines hardly ever make sense... or have two meanings... I know this is a bit of topic but been wanting to say it for ages

Re: laughing child
If it was a screensaver how come it didn't do it unless you were online? I'd have expected the same screensaver to kick in on or off-line. How strange. That's why I thought it more likely to have been an AIM log-in. They startle me if I'm sitting here all quiet and a 'buddy' suddenly comes online with a very loud log-in audio.
