Re: Manchester Apollo?
How well do you know Manchester?
I'd go Cheetham hill way and take the Ashton Rd out from Miller St.
If your not sure of manchester easiest way to direct someone would be M60, M602, onto mancunian way and take the Stockport Rd exit (A57/A6)

Re: Manchester Apollo?
Definitely Cheetham Hill way. Easy peasy. Went a couple of weeks ago and parked on the street adjacent to the gig. The only thing that p****d be off was the bar; £3.70 for an almost cold can poured into a plastic cup.

Re: Manchester Apollo?
Or go on the new section of the M60 that I always forget about, wasn't open when I was driving for a living
Long way round but can be quicker depending on what time your going through manchester.
That way it would be keep on the M60 until you come to the M67, come off the M60 but don't go down the M67, do a right at that roundabout and follow that until you come to the A6, Apollo's there

Re: Manchester Apollo?
LOL, heres directions in multimap, if in doubt go Motorway, all straight forward, M66 through Bury, straight on when you get to the M60 intersection, keep following that till you come to the exit for the M67, come off slip road, don't go on M67, you do a right at the big roundabout onto the A57, keep going on that till you come to the A6 and the apollo theatre is at that junction

Re: Manchester Apollo?
You going to see Chuck Berry Cashy ? ...
Have to laugh, everybody has their own way of getting to a place in Manchester, don't they.
I'll put in my pennyworth for what it is worth .. did work there for 18 years.
Avoid Cheetham Hill . bloody nightmare .. so many hazards, varying cultures, nationalities, who have their own ideas of traffic control, parking, crossing a road etc. Always make sure your doors are locked too
For comfort I would come off at M60, Junction 20 (Blackley).Turn right down Rochdale Road (A664).. take care speed cameras (got booked on there) until you have sight of the Co-op building (about 2 miles) ... turn onto the slip road left (A665) Gt. Ancoats Street, etc. Follow A665 until you hit the A57 (Hyde Road) , turn right, first roundabout ..1st exit (A6) Stockport Road. Apollo just on yer left.
Enjoy the performance...
