I know there used to be monthly meetings for members, do they still happen and if so when and where is the next one?

Yes but it gets to be a bit of a clique, you have to buy a round just for us to aknowledge you, to verify your age it would mean enough drinks for us to need a taxi home.
By which time we would probably be so drunk we'd insist on cutting you in half so we can count the rings to prove your age.

I won't have any money left for a round after buying venison burgers! Is the red haired Scottish lady (can't remember her name) still landlady or does it have a quick turnover like most pubs these days?

Smoking lounge or holding cell -what a choice. I have been a member for 3 years but don't get chance to post often. I usually only have time for a quick browse.

Yes a very quick turn over, not much change from a fiver, before you know it your breaking into another twenty.

Those of us that would like to be in a clique, could never join anything as common as a click, though I must admit, I'm tempted to ask you what is a clike?

I suspect it isn't so much something you join, but rather an add on for a ladies bicycle?
Something to keep her entertained now that cobbled streets are a rarity perhaps?
