hey...dont tar us all with the same brush please...
I do everything possible to make things easier for my other half...from walking the dogs and getting the daily paper/fresh orange to hanging a nappy/baby wash out if weather permits, putting the dishwasher on (easy I know) and taking her brekkie in bed - every day - and thats before I go to work..
and when I get in its bath the wee one, have my daily 35 mins of play with him before its his bed time, have a wash and change of clothes for myself, make dinner for us, then sort out the washing and whats to be ironed, empty the bins, fill the dishwasher, tidy the kitchen etc... I normally start to chill out around 9.30 ish...after getting home at 6pm..I dont mind doing my bit at all as she has the wee one all day which will be stressful enough for her without having to worry about making dinners, doing washing, housework chores etc so if some things are done/prepared the night before/ or whenever by me then its sorted !
everyones happy..and I enjoy my bed !!
and at the weekends I often take him off for a walk to the park or somewhere for a morning or afternoon so she can go have some 'her time' playing on her horse..
sorry to hijack your thread blazey !
