Re: most expensive drink?
A bottle of Cristal champagne, drank whilst outside a bar on the Via Condotti in Rome, the most glamerous of locations. It cost the equvalent of £350.00.
Happily I wasn't paying.

Re: most expensive drink?
Most expensive round I have bought was fifty quid for three drinks in a bar in Mykonos.
That did include entertainment from a mad old woman from New York, singing and playing the piano, so it still works out cheaper per minute than paying to see a Streisand concert.

Re: most expensive drink?
I went to a nightclub in Ibiza and for a Vodka & Coke and a bottle of water it was 32 Euros!!! The water was 8 Euros on its own!
I've also had a £270 bottle of Champagne when Opium was still open.
I bought my friend a £65 bottle of Champagne in Bliss in town, thats the most i've paid for drink on my own. Especially as it was in Accy.

Re: most expensive drink?
Going back to 1987 travelling to Spain with some friends of ours , they had booked us into a place for the night, before the ferry crossing, bought us a round of drinks i.e. 4 single brandies, cost = £40.

Mine was £25 for 3 cans of Red Stripe in Hippodrome in 1989, Yes I know it doesn't work, I was stood at the bar next to Lemmy and even he left after that.
(It was a rock night by the way)

How do you know how to rate champagne... i dont think i would be able to tell the diferance between such an expensive bottle or a £8 bottle of wine....
I think my most expensive bottle of champers was a Bollinger ,,,about £24... i thought it was just average

Cristal champagne comes in clear glass bottles...but I agree, even vintage Roederer Cristal tastes pretty much like the green bottled fizz you can buy in the supermarkets.
