Mot

just wonderingif n e one would know about this, i had my car mot,d a bit ago and ive lost the certificate can i just go to the garage and get them to replace it , the mot was the new one and done through a computer so taken it theyll have a record, plus i lost my v5 (they were together) can i just send away for another 1, im tryen to sell my car so these are a must

i would think they should have a copy,they may charge you for one though!

Yes, you can get a copy of your MOT and it does cost!

DVLA will provide a replacement V5 as well. Don't think there is a cost for this one

if you have the new style mot certificate you can go back to the garage and get a replacement, i think that a small charge is made. the v5 can be replaced but im not sure of the cost, £17 springs to mind.

The garage will give you a replacement MOT sheet for a charge.
Also 19.00 for DVLA to replace your log book, i know this as its what i have to pay for mine.

ive jsut been down to the garag it's a tenner for the mot, what did you have to do to get the v5 replaced??

you have to contact the DVLA in swansea for replacement log book
