Municipal/cheap golf course
Does anyone know of a municipal or private course with low green fees in Accy/Blackburn area? I know there is Townley over in Burnley but I am hoping there is one nearer.

I don't know of any municiple courses closer than burnley, but there is a goos one in nelson called Marsden Park, It's 18 hole and about £8 a round if i remember rightly.

Just those two I think,Marsden and Towneley.Many of the courses will let you have a round if you express an interest in joining,try ringing Green Haworth or Baxenden.

I've found one near Chorley called Highfield Golf Club it's £5 for 9 or £9 for 18 :-)
