Near ossy mills?????

does anyone else live near ossy mills?

If so are ya hearing thudding noises coming from ya walls??

it sounds like someone is banging in my walls....someone said it might be ossy mills doing summat with the foundations and its echoing through the ground with the vibrations.
My neighbours can hear it too through their walls....its so annoying, at first i thought one of me water pipes where gonna burst, untill others hear it too.

Maybe its the ghost trying to get out of my cellar walls......

Re: Near ossy mills?????

I heard something like this a few years ago panther, it is somebody 'piling' foundations in nearby property, you can time it if they are any good, it is a hole drilled into the ground, then they drop a huge weight down the hole until it is well compacted, then pour concrete in, the space in time between noises is while they hoist the weights back up to drop them again, the vibrations can travel hundreds of yards.

If they have a big crane in the grounds, that is what they are doing.

I live very near to Ossy mills.

I've not noticed any noises from my walls though.

My daughter goes to St Pauls just round the corner. She said that the thumping could be heard in school and was very distracting.
