Re: need an electrician
The security light probably needs a new bulb, just undo the bolt at the bottom of the lamp, and the front lifts up, the bulbs slide to the side, to remove them, dont handle the bulb with your fingers wrap a bit of paper round it, and slide it one side, same when you put a new bulb in.
Ceiling rose get one from Home base, pull the fuses put them in your pocket, get the steps out, and a screw driver and swop one for the other, wire for wire.
Retlaw.

Try here
As far as I know Unless your going to DIY you now need a part P registered electrician to touch anything outside or in bathrooms.

Re: need an electrician
I took pics of "someone" smashing the taps off a bath that was left outside the house over the road from us. This was in the woman's garden at the time!!
They parked the van in the middle of the road and went at it with a sledge hammer
They'll get anything for nowt, but when it's on someone's property, it just aint on
Nowt come of it mind so have never had to use the pictures

Re: need an electrician
I just did it by putting "accrington" into the "Town or County:" field and it came back with plenty.
Despite not being an electrician I do all my own so never need to call on one, but if your going to get any work done
it needs to be by one from a competent person scheme & part P qualified (in the club).
Although changing a bulb really wont be worthwhile paying the call out charges.
The fitting itself may need replacing as they are generally very cheap & die quickly.
Whatever, if you try too change the bulb yourself, make sure you turn the power off to it fully and if its the long thin
bulb do not touch the glass with your bare hands, use gloves. (skin oils cause heat buildup & the bulb goes).
Cheap bulbs can be obtained from many places & is usually the first thing to try before finding someone to go further.
