Re: Need quick response on Travel!

If you have to go from Heathrow, I would suggest that you take a BA flight from Manchester to Heathrow. As Grego said, it takes 45 minutes, you can check your luggage in at Manchester all the way through to home. Allow about 1-2 hours from landing at Heathrow domestic terminal to get to your flight at one of the international terminals. This will leave you luggage free and one of the free shuttle buses will take you to your departure terminal. When you get there you will then have time for a coffee and a pee before boarding your next flight. Otherwise, get a flight from Manchester if there is one.

Although most track work is done on the supposed day of rest, the last time I did the journey, it took just a shade over the stated two hours, you little pessimist.

...still half asleep, should have mentioned in the last post that the last time I did the journey was a Sunday. I had to do it once a month, after breaking my journey down from Glasgow to visit our companies fetish clothing factory there, before going on to London for our monthly meetings.

Re: Need quick response on Travel!

The trains take longer on the Manchester to Euston journey on Sunday than during the week - about 3hours 40 minutes, but it is possible to travel 1st class for about £30. I went down in mid February and it the 1st class fare was cheaper than the non 1st class.
