I am sad to say I had to cheat! My other half will only have chicken or pork given choices, my preference is lamb or beef, as I do the cooking, i talked her into a roast on Sunday (chicken), so now I can have a lamb dinner!

Re: new year dinner?
I have a leg of pork roasting in the oven at the moment.....the crackling is just starting to go crisp and brown. With some roast spuds, cauli and steamed carrots...not forgetting the stuffing and apple sauce......I was going to do a trifle, but my hips don't need the extra width.
