I too got shirley Temple when I was little, due to a mass of curls.
I couldn't sing for s*** either!  ;D
Still can't. Doesn't stop me doing it and annoying folk though!

Went through a stage when I was called all sorts of things like sandy, sea shell, etc, due to being C. Shaw.

When I went to the grammar school with a distinctive green uniform, I became Snotty green grass. Not very nice.  :'(

When my older kids were growing up, they used to call me Moomin, instead of Mummy, 'cos of the kids TV character. It stuck & they still call me that now.

I'm also Nanna Moomin to my grandson now.

Oooh! Non Stop Erotic Cabaret takes me back a few years, still have a copy of it on vinyl somewhere. My sister's greatest achievement was getting a kiss off Marc Almond
