No Gimmicks Please

A month from tomorrow my mobile phone contract with 3 is done. Tomorrow I shall give them 30 days notice. I want to go pay as you go as I do not use the phone a great deal, it’s just for emergencies eg. 6mins of calls and 30 odd texts last month. A neighbour has given me one of those O2 genie cards so I intend to use that. I hate the phone I currently have ( Old Nokia 6630 )and would sooner “bin it” than have it opened up.

I want a decent mobile but with no bloody gimmicks, no camera, no video and no internet….Just a phone. Can you chuck some ideas at me as to the phones which may fit the bill.

I still have the Alcatel phone I bought - never used - because it is locked to Orange - is unlockable -and I have Tmobile.
I paid £9.99 for it at Woolies but will GIVE it to you.

just done exactly the same, Dumped 3 cos they are crap n gone pay as you go with Carphone Warehouse on union st,was with that one in arndale for years,went around a few places asking for a Bog Standard phone which you cannot have on contract, and got a nokia now with 02, same as my missus etc, had it 3 months now n well suited,think it cost about £20,check em out mate.

ps give yer notice in writing, or 3 will not accept.

Ahh, so the buggers need it in writing. Thanks for the heads up. Will get their address and post a registered letter so they can't debate receipt.
