yeh i chuck mine in the sink after ive used it especially if opening things like beans or soggy stuff!
so most of you would put it back when used it??.....is that the same when you have opened a tin of doggy food!!!  ....lol....ewwww

I tend to throw it in the bin
 On the odd occassion we've bought one that will open more than 1/2 dozen cans successfully,it depends if i can be bothered or not.

i regularly fall out with tin openers and end up throwing them across the kitchen, my dad thinks its hilarious and always ends up buying me another one, i dont like those cheap one's,can't use them,they fall apart in my hands, ive got a chunky one,they dont hurt your hand when trying to open a tin

I wash mine every time I use it, cant believe you dirty lot that dont
 , its a chunky one and hasn't got any rust on it, must say though most of my cans have ring pulls which I prefer.

i bought a fancy tin opener and i cant use it how i try...i think it must be for a left hander....
By the way i opened a tin this morning and yes i "WASHED" it,,,,even though it looked perfectly clean,You have shamed me into it

ive got an electric knife ,and thats brilliant for cutting meatjoints, but thats all i use it for,,its too much bother to dig it out...
