over 28?......
then ditch the mini skirt, a survey has revealed the definitive answer: 28.
Those over this age should drop their skirt lengths, says the survey of 2,500 women.
The study also revealed that bikinis should be binned at 48 and boob tubes are a no-no after 33.
Those with a belly-button piercing should take it out when they hit 35 and those with long hair should cut it short when they reach 52.
Men can get away with more, says the poll. They can get away with wearing jeans and trainers until they are in their 60s, while hoodies - a favourite with teenagers - are fine until the age of 39.
Men should ditch their tracksuit trousers at the age of 44 and stop wearing football shirts at 53.
well i say if ya got it flaunt it, but when your skin starts to sag dont bother!

Re: over 28?......
I'm 64 and just about to retire. When I'm in Malta I wear a bikini on the beach or very short shorts to walk around, I'm lucky being naturally slim. I often wear jeans and I've got 2 hooded tops (I don't ever put the hoods up because they make me look an idiot). I wore mini skirts the first time around, in the 70s when I was in my 30s, but I wouldn't now and I've never worn a boob tube as they look dreadful on anyone with a chest size above 32AA.
I've got 2 pairs of velour tracksuit bottoms that I wear around the house and garden but I don't go out in them and neither should any one. Men who do just look scruffy. I also think football shirts are a bit naff - unless you're playing football. My belly button is firmly covered, except by a bikini, and I wouldn't dream of piercing it, or anywhere else except my ears. Oh, and my hair is short.
I know some people around my age who can get away with very "young" styles but I also know 20 year olds who look terrible in mini skirts etc. Age shouldn't be the dictator - the mirror should.

Re: over 28?......
I don't think age comes into it, if you suit the clothes and feel comfortable in them wear them!! The only problem as far as I can see is that some people don't use a mirror (or if they do it should be in The Hall Of Mirrors) because if they did they would never go out dressed as they do!!

I think that whether or not a woman looks good in a mini skirt has more to do with their figure than their age. A 40 year old woman who was a size 8 would look a lot better in a mini skirt than a 19 year old who was a size 24

Re: over 28?......
The last time i wore a mini skirt was age 39 to play a game of pool in as part of a dare by one of the A team members - if i wore one he had to wear one and he did!!! Mind you i wore mine with black opaque tights not bare legged.
Bikinis havent worn one of them since i was 16.
Boob Tubes - never worn them - prefer to have something over my shoulders to hold em up!!!
Jeans i live in my jeans - it aint often you see me in a skirt in fact the last time i wore a skirt was when i wore that mini skirt in January
Hoodie tops - havent got one.
Tracksuit bottoms - i have to wear them for work
Bellybutton piercing - never would i have that done. My niece had hers done but when she was pregnant she took it out and never put it back in.
My hair has always been short since i was about 6. Never had long hair its always been short easier to look after wash & go being my motto!!!

Re: over 28?......
A friend of mine is a big girl. She wears mini skirts, because she likes them. At the end of the day she's happy with her size & how she dresses, so who cares?

Re: over 28?......
I like my denim mini skirts because my legs aren't that horrific !
I don't own a trackie and wouldn't have one given.
I would probably be arrested for wearing a boob tube
I have another 8 years worth of bikini wearing if that survey is to be believed; I wear one all the time in Spain cos no one knows me !
Hair was short and purple is now growing and blonde.
I haven't got my belly button pierced because I think they look cheap ( and painful) although i have my ears pierced and a piercing at the top of one ear.
( thanks Accy Jay; the voice of reason ! I am a "big" girl too and it's how you feel that matters x)

Re: over 28?......
I don't wear mini skirts anymore because I've put on a bit of weight. The advantage of that though is that I have more cleavage to show off.
