Parcel deliveries

Good evening to you all. If you order something to be delivered to your house but for some reason you are not going to be in and the delivery guy lives it with your neighbour across the road and lives you a card saying its with number -- do you.....

A. Go and get your parcel when you get home
B. Wait for the other house to bring it over

Re: Parcel deliveries

if someone has had the courtesy to take in a parcel/package for you, then it is the least you can do to go and pick it up.
Being retired, we often accept parcels for our neighbours, but it rattles the bejasus out of me when they have had a card to say where the parcel has been left, but are too idle to stir their stumps and come for it.
I have started to refuse to take in parcels for those folk who can't come and get their parcel.

Re: Parcel deliveries

"delivery guy lives it with your neighbour"
maybe this wasn't a typo and the situation is emotionally fraught/complex
