Does anyone know what poplar social club is like on Wellington street?
Thinking about having our reception there if its nice.......

Hang on honey .. thought you weren't going to get a wedding posting bore ..s'okay though .. we love you really.
Go to the Rock and Roll nights there ... good square room, not too large, bar staff always on the ball and friendly... (no smoking area though ) Good as any I guess.

Thanks for the info....will def go and have a look now.
Its £60 for the day,which is a HUGE chunk of our budget considering we have to provide our own buffet too.....we shall see though.
If anyone else can recommend somewhere cheaper,please do x

Dont go for Hippings vale in ossy.. i hired there for my lads last birthday and it was awful!!

How many is it for ?
There's an upstairs room at the canine club which is a decent size. There's also the room at Accrington Stanley but if you want it on a Saturday during the day then you won't be able ro find out until mid June if it's available.

hi miss kitty.can i suggest enfield cricket club it was 25 pound deposit and if no dammage you get it back,i had my evening do there 5 yrs ago ,it was brilliant,i gave the staff the £25 to keep,or there is ossy social club that £40 quid cheque deposit and £10 cash you get the cheque back if no trouble hence only costing you a tenner
