By the way DiG, I'm off to Albert Dock tomorrow for the day (my dad was in the merchant navy so we go for him to have a reminisce every year). I'll send your best to the river!

Mine too! Harrison lines, X-years on the briney have now turned him into the "Shipologist" he is now. And why, when he comes a visiting, my weekends are full of hurtling round the Dutch & German ports & harbours.

ah well less .. if you lived in edenfield then you wouldn't have had to have gone to 2 different places .. theyre moving the post office into the chemist ..

Retirement means Edenfield post office will be relocated - Rossendale Free Press

just like at baxenden the post office there was moved into the chemist a couple of years ago ...

Now that's frightening, I've got visions of octogenarians, queuing up drawing pensions, ambling across to the pills & potions section, water & arthritis tablets, oh & we'll take a packet of them vaggry things, as they say they'll keep you up all night, I only want them so I don't drop off in the afternoon.

Thats already hapened up Bash, but they don't stock hacksaw blades. its just pensions, stamps, pills, potions n top dressing fur wimins mugs
