My Grandma had a stroke and more recently had brain surgery so cannot handle money or bills or anything so it were a good thing my Mum sorted it sooner rather than later.

I have read about it, and Power of Attorney has to be set up while mum is of sound mind and can make a reasoned decision to agree to it. It just seems very expensive to set one up when it might never be needed!
