Re: Ps2 Online Play?
From what I know (and I haven't had a PS2 for so long, so I'm not sure), the PS2 has a network adapter that you can buy. The new slim PS2s some with one built in. You run a network lead from your PS2 to either your PC or internet router and then the game ought to set itself up once you're connected to the internet. Of course, you could always buy the adapter and read the instructions .
The problems with it are pretty severe... See, while Xbox Live only allows people with broadband to connect to it, PS2 online allows people with a disablingly slow dial-up connection to connect as well. This means that if you have six people playing on broadband, and one on dial-up... You've got a very, very slow and un-fun game going. The only upside is that there are some extremely good games out for the PS2 that play online (SOCOM and the Tony Hawk games, for example). Personally, I'd stick to PC and Xbox online just because you can get a better speed of game out of them, and for ease of setting up.
