Lol. Perhaps I should.

Lunch with me and depressed! He'll be wanting to jump in the reservoir afterwards.

They might have to ID his body using his DNA after he drowns

Thinking about it he probably wouldn't drown. With just one side thrashing about he'd just keep going around in circles.

See.

Funny.

I'm bound to cheer him up.

Perhaps I'll take my spare tambourine too.

Thanks for the karma by the way. I tried to pm you to say thanks but your box needs a good cleaning out, as you can't get anything else in there til you give it a good Spring clean.

Re: Pub near reservoir?

Thanks to you lot I had a very nice lunch today, though I think four hours is stretching lunch into afternoon teatime really.

The staff were very friendly and efficent, and the food is very reasonably priced, and if the weather was good it would be lovely to sit outside, though even from inside there are great views over the reservoir towards Darwen Tower.

On a personal level it was a rewarding time, as although this guy is in a fairly similar state healthwise to me, I'm much more together and stronger emotionally. He said I cheered him up, made him laugh, and encouraged him that the future isn't all bleak, and next week I'm having lunch with him and his pregnant wife.

All in all, a very enjoyable day.
